Christmas Eve we spent with the Abernathy's. We had a great dinner and then we opened presents early....mainly because big kids Brandon and Bethany wanted to see what they got. Brandon got this great new Northface from Colorado, more Florida stuff, and money while I stocked up on all the maternity clothes I could need, my favorite candles, and a new coat. Brennan wasn't left out either. Nana got him this adorable outfit from Strasburg for Christmas next year and Bethany got him a blue sweater outfit from Strasburg's too. I don't think the baby will be in need of any clothes after my mom and Brandon's mom finishes, lol. Late Christmas Eve we went over to my parent's house and opened presents there too. Brandon got this awesome little white laptop and clothes and I got Uggs, a ton of Vera Bradley stuff that I loved, more clothes, and an awesome set of fine China that I can't wait to use. Then on Christmas Day we came back and had breakfast and lunch with my family and rounded off the afternoon with Brandon's. It was a great Christmas!

It's a BOY

On 10-30-08 I went for my 16 week check-up and I had another ultrasound. Both Grandma's and Brandon came with me. The baby was still really active but the ultrasound tech worked with him until we could finally see it was a little boy! Brandon was so excited....he really was wanting a little boy. It was funny when Papaw heard it was a boy he went to Wal-mart crying to buy "Brennan" his first truck.
First Ultrasound 9-8-08

Our first look at our baby was shortly after we found out we were pregnant. The baby was so active we could hardly see what was going on. This ultrasound was done at 9 weeks and it was the first time we really believed we had a little person in there. You could see his little arms on the screen....wow....

Nashville 10/10/08
We had so much fun on our short trip to Nashville. The girls got a room and the boys got a room, then we all piled up! The girls were Whitney, Lindsey, Jerrica, Leslie, Lorelei, Gayra, and me.....we slept 3 to a bed, one in a recliner and poor leslie in the floor, but we had fun. It was nice to be with the girls! :)

His last night of freedom, haha, j/k

love this!

awww, best pals

Brian finally found a wife! We are all so happy for him and the wedding was BEAUTIFUL! Brian's dad did an amazing job with all of the decor. Brandon was the best man and he had a great time throwing Brian's bachelor's party and all the festivities that come with that! lol Here's the group in the middle of the night before the wedding at IHOP.

Spring Break 2008
We went back to Orlando for spring break to see our pals, Les and Derek. While we were there we rode over to Orange Beach and stayed at the Ron Jon Surf Resort. It was fun, with its very own water park. We decided not to go back to all the parks seeing we had just visited them all back in August but this time we went to downtown Disney and Universal City Walk. Then Saturday we went to the flea market and the town of Celebration. In downtown Celebration they were having a car show so we had a great time walking around. Plus we got to hang out with Shari too :)

lol, I stole this picture off their webpage because I couldn't get a picture this good of the whole place. hah

New Orleans/Baton Rouge 10-6-07

We took a mini vaca to New Orleans and stayed in the French Quarters. We stayed close to the Gator head quarters for the game where there were hundreds of crazy fans hanging off balconies everywhere....to say the least Brandon LOVED it! Well after that we drove to Kelly's and then we went to the LSU campus to find tickets for the game, which was sold out. The LSU fans were so mean! They were pouring beer on Gator fans and all kinds of stuff. Anyway tickets were like a thousand a piece so we opted to go back to Kelly's house and watch the game from there. It was a sad night for B. The Gators lost 28-24.
